WELL I RODE THE 2004 CR125 THIS WEEKEND ON SOME TIGHT SINGLE TRCK FROM EASY UP TO VERY DIFFICULT TERRAIN. MAN... THE HARD WORK NEEDED FOR THE 2 STROKE JUST IS NOT THAT MUCH FUN, CONSIDERING THE RECOVERY TIME IT NOW TAKES LOL. SO I GUESS ITS TIME TO SELL. WHAT SHOULD THE ASKING PRICE BE? ITS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE AND RUNS TERIFFIC. ALSO HAS THE 100TH ANN SIDE PLATES ALONG WITH NON ANN ONES.

If you're too old to enjoy a 2 stroke, maybe you should just hang it up? Everything else is going to weigh more and steer slower than a 125.

I didn't enjoy a cr125 2009 . Felt harsh and Yeh hard work. But now back in love with the Wr 125.
Ignition makes it much nicer to ride trails

From your opening line you did not state anything about riding with the family...... Based upon Husky resale, being an 04....$1000.00-$1200. There was a 04 CR125 out here in California that was list for $900.00....it looked a little rough!

Hey , easy big fella, just yankin your chain. A 125 motocross bike is certainly not and ideal family trail machine.

get a WR250 and lug it forever. I find 2 strokes EZer to ride not harder. Or get a AJP PR4 :)

 But a 125 trailbike can be a motocross bike!:D That's why I have the little WR. It's wonderfully smooth on the trail, but is still good enough for racing.

Gosh....I hope I'm not too old for two strokes.:oldman:

You know what they say: "Different strokes for different folks". But I have to say, I just got a KTM 250XC after being exclusively on four strokes fr the last 20 years and I'm having a blast! Maybe just because it's different, but that lighter weight and feel in the technical stuff is sweet!

Im with PTKatoomer on this one, 10 years on 4 strokes, last 2 stroke was a KTM250EXC, and now with the TE300 Husky its like a new world for me. but to each their own. Truth is my 4 stroke path led back to the 2 stroke, from 250EXC--TC450,TE450,TXC450,TE310,TXC310R--to TE300---progressively lighter and more manageable.

Try this before you sell it But a 12 tooth on the front you can even go 12/52 now you have a fun bike will not stall and you can lug around all day Just try it and report back I bet you keep it

THE BEING OLD PART WAS IN JEST... IF I HAD TIME ( 3 MONTH OLD TWIN SONS TAKES UP ALOT OF TIME) I WOULD BE WFO ON THE TRAILS WITH MY FRIENDS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. IM JUST BEING REALISTIC.
