I am tired of stalling my bike, I can't find a auto clutch or heavier fly wheel for it (09 TE 310) any ideas?

Try feathering the clutch a bit more. I find the motor as pretty tractable especially when run in. Maybe go up a tooth or two on the rear cog. It will give you more bottom end but will negatively impact top end speed

I am fine 98% of the time, I just need that little helper once and a while when the going gets tough. The top end is already only 110 kph so I dont want to go any slower and first gear is plenty low.

Does anyone know of a comany that makes heavier flywheels for these bikes? I think I could live with that vs. a new auto clutch.

I have the same problem. 98% of time good but the 2% of tight trial when i stall i get piss off. Getting to old reflexes starting to slow down. I ordered a dyna-ring from kelly. I hope that will end my stalling.

Will the dyna ring fit the TE?

The website doesnt list it as a fit.

if it does, Im all in one too!

Come on fellas work on your technique, you got an electric leg. You don't need a slipper clutch. If your bike is new it is tight and will free up significantly cira 500 miles.

on real tight stuff events, i just up the tick over slightly say 1900-2000... also have my co2 adjusted to co1 118, co2 110 co3 106 db killer in but cut down to 2".. PU done..
have absolutely no issues with stalling ever.. in fact i think its one of the strong points of the bike.. i can leave the clutch out in first and let the tick over pull it up anything..
it will tractor through just about anything...
i run gearing standard at 13-50 or 14-50 when on faster tracks.
for sure as mr ghte said when new everything is tight.. i have 750miles 24hrs on the 2010 te 310 and its noticeably freer reving..

    hope this helps you..

On my 08 510 efi settings have a lot to do with stalling. Close to idle it would stall if opening the throttle fast, normally on the worst possible part of the trail. I have a power commander with autotune and enriched the range close to idle solving the problem. On the newer bikes you have a lot more options using the co setting. Dont think fww or autoclutch is needed.

I agree with andy . My 09 310 will not stall ive tried to make it. It just keeps plugging along. Very similar to my 05 montesa. Keep your finger on that sweet lil clutch guys !

So there you have it guys, get your engine run in, tweek the efi and practice your clutch technique. Seroiusly recon one good ride will get you on top of the clutch if you really focus on it.

Great, I will watch the clutch and ignore the 10,000 elephant in the corner.

I will mess with the PC-5

I am just used to orange bikes with less effort for set up.

No, you're just used to carb'd bikes. Every FI bike I have owned needed or was better with EFI mapping work. Same with my Husky. I have no stalling issues with my 10 310, but it is set up with the Husky RACE ECU, so my mapping is not stock. I love it. You don't have to use the PC V, there is a JD Jetting box for the 310 that is supposed to be really good or the Husky Factory option like I and others have used.

I think of this no differently than jetting, once you get the fueling set up, you are good to go. Max performance and fuel efficiency that you get with EFI comes with a price, and that is good mapping for your set up.

I put the PC-V on right after I purchased it a year ago. I did not get the auto tune ( based on the PC thread on the site). I'm not whining, I'm just saying all the answers I have getting are asking me to change how I ride or tweak what is supposed to be the finest enduro brand in the world. My experience is that KTM has these issues fixed before they roll a model out. I'm not giving up on the Husky, that's why I'm asking questions.

I will attest that some break-in makes the issue of stalling lessen. Get some miles on it before opting for an auto clutch or weights.

Mate it is better to ride with your natural skill set and learn how to improve them than use aids that are not really required. Just get out there and back yourself. As for the KTM are you kidding me, the WP suspension is horrible-just follow one on a rutted track and watch the back end kick out. Then there is the oil burning and seal leaking. KTM has not got it right since 2007. How do I know, well I ride with a whole bunch of disgruntled Orangemen. The Husky 310 is a brilliant ST/Enduro bike. Its not perfect (should have a higher 5th and 6th gear imho) but its close. I have had 4 on the trott and not one mechanical (touch wood). The efi was perfect out of the box/well dealer (thanks Trooper Lu). This bike is the best bike I have ever owned and at 57 I have forgotten how many that is

Thanks for everyones input. I am not buying a auto clutch or wieght for now. I will spent the rest of the cold months perfecting the EFI and will revisit this issue come spring if needed.

    Thanks again,
