    The 08 te450 we have is getting quite hard to start. No chance it will start without using the manual decomp.

    I checked the valves and 3 are .006 and 1 is .007.

    The ADC is a little worn where is touches the rocker. It looks to me like it doesnt quite hit it smoothly and flicks out away from the cam lobe, while kicking it over by hand with the plug out.

    The bike has done 2800km i was told $120 from Husky so i want to be sure before i spend up. Be interested to hear what people think;

    1. Is this part worn out and needs replacing?
    2. Anyone know exactly what the part is called, do you just order that worn part or do you need all of the springs etc
    3. Do you think i could use one from an older bike, eg 2004 450 - i know of one thats being wrecked.
    4. Could it be pulled off, welded, machined and refitted?

    Appreciate any comments.

    Personally I would just replace the component. It is a wear item, so getting a second hand one is probably only a short term fix.
