Sorry guys but I am giving up my Husky. My TE450 is by far the best all round bike I have ever had and will sorely miss it. The only reason it is going is because i have just bought a KTM 250 2 stroke. Not particularily fussed on orange bikes, but I was after a 2t and it was to good a deal to pass by. I have really enjoyed this forum, and you never know may return one day. Thanks John
Well you don't have to give up you're friends just because you changed brands. Remember this is a site for both Husky enthusiasts as well as riders, so drop by once in a while and let us know how things are going.
I don't have a Husky right now. I'm on a Gas Gas, but I have owned two Husky's previously, and love them. It's why I'm here. For me, it's all about the right deal. My GG 300 is a sweet ride, and came at a great price. I've been eyeballing the new WR 300 though. I'm going to make a run at the 2010 ISDE, so I'm hoping an el freebo deal comes along for me to ride. If not, I'll be riding what I've got!
Me, too! I've got a Husky, KTM, GasGas, Honda and a Suzuki; I can be friends with everyone! WoodsChick
Don't tell anyone but I saw a Husky and a KTM riding together out in Mammoth, just the two of them..... Just curious, did you find a hot deal on a KTM 2t or did you prefer them over the Husky 2t. Seems like there's some really hot deals on Husky's too, new ones.
Went with the KTM for one reason only. And that's money. None of the other brands seem to sell well over here, and as I have never had a 2t before I went Orange so that i knew I would be able to sell it on really quick if I didn't like it. But i do. Will pop in here from time to time, and I am already thinking about getting a WR as my next bike. Have to have a couple of moans about the new bike though. And they are, the front brake is terrible, not really likeing the looks of the bike and The main Orange forum isn't as nice as here
You are most welcome to come back at any time Perhaps some non-technical threads you may find of interest, such as the beer thread.
the uk weather has a lot to answer for as far as dirt biking is concerned ! i only recently moved to Oz from scotland (year and a half ago !) and never really rode dirt bikes there.. it was big bore farm quads due to forestry giving us hastle over the years but out here in Oz theres a million different bikes and all seem popular including TM's ! but enjoy your KTM 2 stroker, they are known for being bullet proof !
