Just took my 1992 WXE350 (Trip to the Tip) from the the top of Baja to the bottom and it ran fine the entire time. I get it back to me on the East Coast, pressure wash what I can off of Baja dust and mud, crank it up and ride it a few miles and put it back up. It has a dual exhaust and notice the right exhaust is smoking but not the left. Yesterday (three weeks later) I change the oil, spark plug, and switch out the larger tank for the stock smaller tank. Crank it up and the right exhaust is smoking and left exhaust clear with no smoke. Even when I cut off the motor there is still a thick wisp of acrid smoke coming out of the right exhaust for about a minute. Any and all advice, thoughts, etc appreciated.

My clutch is also now not disengaging and causing the bike to stall when put in gear but I discovered this as I was about to leave and only had time to see if it would adjust out at the lever which it would not. No problems with it three weeks back so bit confused on this also.

Your exhaust is just wet, it comes from the same mid pipe if you take off the seat and look at the pipes under it. I would probably replace the clutch cable first as it is the easiest thing to do. There is also an adjustment in the clutch access cover you can make.

Probably burning off the fresh oil dispersents and solvents from the airfilter oil if you have just cleaned it and re oiled it recently. Some times can be eye watering and smell like you said acidic.
If clutch is adjusted properly, both at motor and handle bar it's possible clutch basket is getting some indentations on the ears where the plates make contact to it. Can pull it out and flat file these and get somemore usage out of it before having to replace it.
