I recently had a pretty bad fall on my 2014 te250r and it bent the handlebar top plate. I'm wondering if there is a way to fix it or any companies that make top plates that would fit my bike and not be one piece. If not is there somewhere I can order an OEM top plate?

There's a thread about this, un do it and flatten it in a vice.
Put it on table to see how twisted it is.

I've moved to independent clamps and so far haven't had issues.

There was a thread years ago about chopping the one piece plate into a two piece clamp. I can't remember what the outcome of it was, but it could get you by until you find a replacement.

They'd be standard(1 1/8) bar n thread size I'd have thort so should be able to find somethin easily enough. I thought bout choppin mine in 2 but wasn't conclusive that independent was better. Most brands(ktm etc) rum oem independent I think?

Sorry I am fairly knew to this site, so I didn't see the old thread. Yeah I'm pretty sure most brands run independent. If they are standard bar n thread size I should just be able to order some for that size or drop into my local store and find out.

Who keeps ally cutting discs in the tool box?!... I'd have to go to Bunnings to buy one, which is OK because... sausage sizzle.

(Sabre saw with metal cutting blade and kero would be my choice of weapon)

BRP makes some nice triple clamps and bar clamps. Of course this might be a good reason to get a steering stabilizer and you can do the whole kit.
