    September 18 & 19, 2010
The Berkshire Trail Riders Association presents the
Berkshire 2-Day Dual Sport Trail Ride

Come ride the Berkshire trails! This is an event for enduro bikes and trail worthy dual sports. Knobby tires are a must. The route will be mostly on single track trails and rugged woods roads. We are cutting some new trail just for this event. Hero sections will be marked for the most challenging sections. Think NETRA Turkey Run or AMA National 2-day Dual Sport type terrain.

Date: September 18 & 19. Start time 9am. Mandatory riders meeting 8:30am both days. Last rider out 9:30am.

Start Location: Camp Kinderland – 300 Acres, Private Lake, Cabins Available.
1543 Colebrook River Road, Tolland, MA 01034. Follow the arrows from Route 57, Tolland MA

    Sign-up: Friday 4-7pm; Saturday 7-9am; Sunday 7-9am.
    Pre-Entry: $35 each day | Post Entry: $40 each day | http://www.netra.org/forms/entry_form.pdf

Requirements: NETRA or AMA membership suggested but not required. Route-sheet holder required. Motorcycle drivers license, valid license plate mounted on fender, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, working headlight and taillight. Spark arrestor/muffler 96DB MAX! We will be running a NETRA sound test on all bikes.

Event: We have secured a large camping facility located in Tolland, MA. The event will start/stage from there. There is plenty of space for weekend camping. No open fires allowed. There will be a nominal camping fee charged.

Cabin Rentals: There are cabins and bunk houses available for rent at very reasonable rates. All cabins have electricity and indoor bathrooms and showers. This is a non-smoking facility.

Food: There will be breakfast available for purchase at start area both Saturday and Sunday morning.

You are on your own for lunch, many places to stop along the route.

For dinner we have a number of local restaurants and pubs and encourage people to patronize them: Tuckers, New Boston Inn, Knox Trail Inn, etc. We will have a list of establishments and directions available at the event.

Gas: We will route you past gas stations. Note that the closest gas station to the start is 10 miles so bring enough gas with you.

Pre Entries payable to: “Berkshire Trail Riders”.
