I'm just wondering what everyone is using for a clutch lever/mount, my '11 CR150 came with a MSR setup and I didn't like the feel of it. I had a spare quick adjust setup from my Honda that I put on but it doesn't have enough adjustment to get my cable freeplay right. I adjusted the cable length as much as I could but still too much slop

I don't known the CR150 setup but you can adjust it from the basket as well? Again, dunno the 150 engine.

Have you got a fresh clutch and cable? Hard to judge feel otherwise. My 150/165 is supposed to have @ 40 hours on the clutch, but it's the original cable. Lubed the cable, haven't opened the clutch yet, feel is a little vague, but doesn't fade. Still have oem lever and perch too. If I could find a shorty Domino lever I'd be happier.

Running msr raptor, still prefered the domino one it came with sadly it bit the dust in an off.

I like my MSR raptor juicy...just got to make sure the cable adjuster is the and pointing fairly inline with the cable...the domino was a nice unit but l hated the clutch pull!!

I thought of the cable and put a new motion pro on but it is even longer although not by much. I checked my clutch arm position and compared that to others and seems ok. I had wondered if the ball was left out of the push rod assembly. Those domino lever assemblies are expensive in Canada!

My raptors bearings are seized solid after 20 hours use. Not up to par on that.
But it still pivots on the bolt so its fine.

Clutch pull on the 125 based bikes is sooo lite compared to the 300, 1 finger on mine most of the time. Of course I've got the killer grip now from the 300 with Rekluse. Though don't really need the adjustable leverage, the Moose EZ3 is a quality unit, made in the US and @ $40. I've got it on the 300 and a year in with only 1 issue with the adjuster. I'll get one on the 165 soon, because the stock lever hangs out past the handguard asking to be grabbed by branches and vines.

I might put the msr setup back on it for now, it must be one of their basic or economy line because it just doesn't have a good feel to it like the Honda one I put on. So it sounds like most guys are still using the stock setup?

I have one 125 with the stock setup and one with the magura hydraulic setup and a zeta lever.

I greatly prefer the magura setup, it has fantastic feel and light clutch pull.

This is the assembly I was leaning towards. My clutch pull w stock hardware is super light...just looking for a system that I can get adjusted closer to bar...less reach....did you find this was closer to bar?

No, I didn't notice less reach from the bar, but that wasn't the point for me. I've got L/XL hands and was looking for more leverage on the 300.

I need it for a spare for now. When I replace the 165 perch, I could sell a stock setup.

I flattened out a couple of 5/16" lock washers and put them on the cable before putting it into the lower bracket/mount to effectively lengthen my housing - works good for now! Got out riding for an hour but the temps here were just above freezing so there was still the odd slick spot in the shade :)

On the 300 with Terminator cable, which is almost too long, I use an M8 nut in the same way.

Oh man, I never thought of a nut - that would be perfect! Might have to make a little aluminum spacer on the lathe.

I bought the bike from a guy in Ottawa last fall but I'm kind of close to collingwood/wasaga beach
