250-500cc Best place to pickup replacement intake manifold for my wr250?

    Recently picked up an 07 wr250, going through it on my spare time (change fluids, replacement levers, etc).

    Intake manifold has clearly seen better days...previous owner was clearly a fan of silicone :p

    Other then ebay, does anyone have a supplier they like?

    Hotfoot Moto has them listed on their website as going back to 2009, but on E-bay, they have the same part # is listed to go all the way back to 2001. You might want to give them a call or drop them an e-mail. The part isn't cheap, but is made of much better material, longer lasting than the original OEM one. I have used other products of theirs, and they are very good quality.

    I read your thread.

    I wonder if anyone could make an aluminum sand casting from the stock intake manifold.
    Then modify the casting to utilize some sort of durable rubber boot.
    Essentially creating something similar to the gasgas version, only with better carb angles.

    What's the status of your intake...are you still running the honda cr250 intake?

    I did without problems but I sold the bike and kept the Lectron and installed the Mikuni but it not work with the CR250 boot and the VF4 as it was hitting the engine, so I purchased another original boot and installed the Mikuni with the VF3.
