smashed the pro circuit pipe(lasted very well tho, took a fair old beating!) so gonna chuck the stocker back on but wanna better looking silencer. thoughts/prices? probably something longer/torquier/quieter than the pc too.

The FMF powercore is pretty quiet.

yeh ive noticed that as me mate has one on his berg 300 even though theyre fairly short! wasnt sure if it was the silencer/rider/engine(sound like washing machines :)) though? can you compare that to something longer(& quieter again id imagine) powerkord like the q stealth or turbinecore? is there much difference dB wise? do all fmf fit the stock pipe as i have 2 spares & dont wanna have to buy the full system again like the pc?

Well I would imagine that any of the silencers with spark arrester would be even quieter. The FMF silencer for the WR is actually pretty long compared to other models. I had one on a KX and the WR is quite a bit longer. And much longer than the stock KX. If you are looking for a standard silencer with no spark arrestor the powercore is probably good. I don't have any experience with Leo Vince. Anybody else?

spark arrestor not critical but trying to do me bit for dirt bike preservation and keep it quiet-but not at the cost of performance however!

truth be known i have a brand new spare platinum2 pipe ready to go but just wana stimulate the economy(U.S. at that). pc304, fmf powercore2 & dep all look fairly similar in size and id imagine performance/sound would be similar too! the leo sayer is a bit more pricey but also looks a bit longer(quieter/torquier?) & sexier. got an almost akro look about it to with that carbon end cap. i think mr vincent is gonna get the go ahead! anyone know if akro make a silencer for the 300s?
