So, its been a while admittingly. I'm looking to deepen the garage and add a few more huskies again.
So what is the best year for the TXC450? and What is the best year for the TXC 310 im pretty sure the 310 was the best at its final iteration but is that true for the 450? What's the last year before the 450 went to the wacky design? I'm also interested in buying if anyone has one for sale.

I have owned three 310ns. 2011, 2014 TE and TXC (all bought new). The pro on the R is the fuel injection. Except for that my 2011 was the best one. Ok, no KYB but the suspension was better from scratch before the KYB. The KYB parts is the worst stock suspension ever made. Compared the KYB are way better after plenty of $$ but its sad they never put any energy in the stock parts. The redhead isnt anything to aim for if its not thrown at you. Ofcourse a step up but not something that I would see as a ”musthave”. Sometimes I miss my 2011 with less power. Never felt the extra 5-6 hp is an advantage. Just stealing %s of the energy. The dream bike is in my opinion 25hp 300cc 4stroke. Unfortunately its not made yet . The fuel injection on the pre redhead is not good though. It worked fine for me during 2 seasons, except in competitions. The injection needs battery power to work and that is not something you want in the woods. It has given me the only two competition failures in my life and Im 52

The txc 450 was only made from 2008 to 2010 and there are not any big differences, I would take any of them.
