I've looked around at the TE/SM conversion threads and seems that the hub and spacers/rotor offsets are different. What I am aiming for is a bit bigger rotor and adapter plate to move the caliper back accordingly. Not sure the SM rotor is the answer. Not interested in different MC/ or calipers just a beefier rotor. Which way should I go ?
Take a look at OS6184C from EBC. Hard to find details on it, but it looks like a 280 "fully floating" rotor. Not sure how thick it is. I believe the stock TE is 3 mm thick and the caliper can handle 4 mm. I have the SM6184C kit for my SM wheels.
