I found the time to go back over to the end of Carabao HY 101 and finish the trek across the island on this alternate route to the west coast... This is a pretty cool route but I'm not sure about the river crossing when the river is higher ... Meaning, I'm not sure how long this river would stay up after a big rain here blocking the route ...I can probably alter the river crossings again in this case ... The 2010 TC250 WA version is the bike today ... And I mounted the Voyager GPS (running off its own battery power) on it with a route marked as a reference to where I was going ... It was a pretty but cool trip running parallel to that river ... Fairly scenic with swimmers and workers along the way ...~7 full hrs of riding here ... And this area in this large, flat valley would be a cool place to camp and ride the area a few days ... My tire was toast before we started... I took the cool mountain pass route as usual and took a rest here ...This little nipa hut got a new tin roof since my GF Eva and I were here last ~2 yrs ago. This mountain pass route leads right though the Danasan ECO ADV park so a stop over here for food and drinks is gonna happen usually ... The north view from Danasan Peak.
Thats a jump in the middle of the pic along that small path ... Shows a good attitude I think ... And I rode up to Danasan Peak on my bike and he has several small gnarled paths running around on that hill side ... I gotta talk with the owner again about business proposals on his biking riding stuff out there ... Out of the ECO park now and back at the river to finish the route to the west coast ... When these type rides go as smoothly as this one, they are really cool to me ... That guy is a hable2x rider (taxi driver) and also has gasoline for sale ... His place surrounded by family members homes ... This is a very likeable valley to me ...
Stock tanks on Husqvarna brand motorcycles are AOK here ... The water was crystal clear ... Probably fed from several natural springs in the mountains ... Not sure why the bottom looks brown&muddy under the water ... And the rocks looked like commercial grade ... Maybe by the time the water reaches this point from the mountains, they are ground up ... The water being clear made the crossing much easier for me ... My bike did die once in the middle of one deeper crossing... Not sure why unless the CARB vent tubes went under water ... Upstream from my entry point ... I'll want to see what is off in that direction some day for sure.... Downstream ... I crisis-cross and ride parallel to the water, but I'm sure most, if not all this could be navigated in the water or on its shore ... But that's another ride ;0)
A few more on downstream .... Its easy to spot the deep pools such as the one around that large rock on the right side of the pic ...
This was a cool location also along the way .... I suspect the local living there would be more than happy to have you campout there and provide help ..such as drinking and eating .. The hable2x driver could help with this also ...
This spot was well across the rice fields after the river and close to the coast ... The west coast ....
This device is essential ... Bread and drink time ... The real red bull -- 25 cents ... Nice small town ...
