Will have to get me a Nomad tank so I have enough range for this, B2V, not having to bum gas off Ty, etc...

You do not need a big tank. Start to first gas stop was only 80 miles a shell station in Lake Arrowhead. Then about the same to the finish, you can always carry a gallon in a back pack.

With a conservative map I'm good for about 75 miles with 2.5 gal stock set up. We did a run dry test when I rode with Ty. Lucky his 501 has a supertanker tank! I really need one so I can dual sport properly. The larger one that goes on the rear fender is 4.5l, or 1.18 gal. That would get my range somewhere around 100 miles+.

Pulled the trigger today and ordered one from AUS since Kelly got out of the game. Too many DS rides that I don't have the range for so made the effort, not the excuse.
