OK....yes, I know its a dirt bike.. and there is sort of charm in having your bike all muddy and all.. but I like my bikes clean :)

so far I used S100 and Suzuki bike cleaner (it works awesome),

so what do you guys use to get all that mud of your bike?

I like to use a dirt scraper & a strong stream of water to remove excess. I like the Suzuki wash, dilute it half & half with water. Spray motor down & let it simmer, start with the top & scrub everything with a brush. One section at a time hosing off as I go. Come back to the motor & spray again with soap. Brushing everything my little brush can hit. Wheels last thing I wash. I always remove my air filter & use the air box cover. Use the old leaf blower to remove water from all the cracks & crevasses.

i was an S100 fan for a while but it gets too expensive...

50/50 Simple Green/water mix in a spray bottle, good spray nozzle on a regular garden hose (i don't powerwash anymore), spray off the heavy stuff, spray either half or 1/4 of the bike down with the Simple Green/water mix, good paintbrush to 'brush' it all in, let sit for maybe a min or two, never more, blast off with the hose... continue on. always do this to a cool bike out direct sunlight or do smaller sections if in the sun. you don't want the SG mix sitting long or drying on.

works awesome. paint brush is key.

+1 for Simple Green, however I prefer the purple Simple Green over the normal stuff....
Do NOT let that stuff sit long or dry tho.

I don't ride mine. I only put aftermarket stuff on it and look at it while I drink beer.

I put simple green in a big sprayer two gallon's at a time and just pump it up and spray away. Works better than a squirt bottle.

CT18 is the poison of choice here in Aus. I get the feeling it may be quite similar to your simple green.

Shout, the same stuff that removes stains from your riding gear. Shout has a neutral pH which will not streak aluminum. works really well on keeping your engine cases looking fresh and clean.........put in a spray bottle and spray away, not need to mix.

Krud Kutter works well, I get it at Lowes for $24/gal. Simple Green is almost as good for a fraction of the cost. I use a electric pressure washer then WD-40 all the critical places afterwords.

+ One for CT18 in Aus!
    THE best bike/car/truck wash around.
I bought a cheap Hills mini pump-up sprayer from Big W to apply it.

When the bike is all clean and dry, I spray it in silicone tyre shine, motor, plastics, up under the guards etc. (Not where you grip the bike with your legs or brakes obviously)
It helps stop the next lot of dirt sticking & makes washing off a heap easier.
My bike has 119 hrs on it now, almost all off-road, it's covered in scratches in this pic, but is still clean & shiny.

    Looks new today though.

x2 on Shout, the stain lifter. stuff is amazing. we buy it by the 4 gallon case at Costco, and dilute it 75/25 shout/water in a weed sprayer.
