Hi I came across the Bikescan-100 (http://www.duonix.de/produkte/motorrad/?lang=en). It says s it supports the TR650 and covers the following: Service provision Date / path Date and time setting example following a battery replacement Reset the adaptation values for engine control unit Specific IS values Reading the current KM Read VIN Valve clearance service provision Film transducer calibration (for example 1200GS) Idle actuator Calibration Brake wear indicator initializing Windshield Calibration ESA calibration stepper balance Gear adaption balance exhaust flap calibration TPMS programming Actuator diagnosis Free updates No limitation or restriction on models Obviously not the same as the GS-911 and obviously not all of this is relevant. But I searched the forum and could find no mention of it. Has anyone tried it? It looks a bit cheaper than the GS-911. Jim
A good find. 300eur is pricey equating to 450AUD when car OBDII readers are considerably cheaper. English screenshots would have nice.
A very expensive device for the extremely limited capability it has when you consider the GS911 WiFi is $US500 The Husky relevant capabilities are limited to the items below Service provision Date / path Date and time setting example following a battery replacement Reset the adaptation values for engine control unit Reading the current KM Read VIN Actuator diagnosis For any diagnostic device to be useful it needs to have component testing capability which it does not indicate for any of the models supported
i can't see the shipping costs to Australia and if they would take VAT out of the 299euro but the GS911 wifi can be bought for 350euro including shipping to Oz. Totally agree that testing and logging capabilities of the GS911 are what makes it stand out. Obviously i like the GS911 now that i have it but still hate the fact that it is needed to maintain modern vehicles. Then again it really pays for itself in the longer run and the GS911 resale value is pretty good too so the money spent on it in the end is not much and a good investment. Certainly much more useful than loud cans or other farkles. Funny how i get more requests for the GS911 than the Husky through my sales adds...
