This will be a really fun ride; I hope to see the Husky faithful there.

We stay at a FULL HOOK-UP KOA campground... with restaurant, Wifi, pools, showers & natural mineral baths.

Regular Price $59.79... Our price $39.79 ($20 off per night)

RSVP on RIDERS first to get instructions on making your discounted KOA reservations !

Again space is limited. First come first serve. I have several slots reserved for guests as of now. But if I run out of RIDERS member slots before they are taken some of those could go away. I also have 2 to 4 tent slots available.

Moral of the story: If interested, don't delay.

    Thanks... Jeff aka BOLT

This is a great area that's little known and used. Super fun rides of various trail leading to many historical spots in the lower desert.
My favorite is General Patton's Museum and the slit canyons.

Best part is the KOA camp ground where you ride from your camp to the trails- luxury camping with all the comforts of home.

I won't be missing this ride- anyone wanna go down there from the Bay area?

Dan - Looks like it's just us two Cafe Husky peeps will be representing the Husky marque.....too bad the rest will miss this epic ride.
It would seem that the SoCal Riders group are hard core when it comes to riding. Last count we had 22 bikes and 15 ATV's. Showers, TV, Wi-Fi, A/C, fresh water pools, hot mineral tubs and restaurant - Epic I tell you!
Appears I'll be getting the long distance attendee award....again.[IMG]

Blech. Too hot. And dry. And I'd get sand everywhere, and who wants that!? No Thank you! I'll just stay up here in the northwet enjoying my cloudy darkness and precipitation. That area is really ugly too.

I mean it's just stoopid ole desert. I dunno why it's the oldest road they have, they shoulda abandoned it centuries ago. not only that, but the shopping in nearby San Bernadino sucks as well. They have this crappy store called Chaparell motorsports, and seriously I dunno how they stay in business. I walked and walk and walked around in there for hours until my feet hurt. Who needs that!? If I wanted to walk 100 miles in a store I'd go to frikken REI for some hiking shoes. I like my moto shops nice and small so I can find what I want in a TR/PU/chaparrel catalog just like everone else does.

Nope, no thank you! I'm not one bit interested, or jealous, or crying or anything like that! nope...

Really great weekend, and I'm glad to meet Hwy. I too will make the drive to Stonyford sometime.

Thanks moreccthanlbs for sacrificing your chance to ride Sunday's big boy ride, deciding to ride the shorter ride and trail sweeping.

Fun times for sure. I always have a great time with "Riders". Good to meet you too runner.
Margarita 1.0 and 2.5 had me feeling no pain after I did the bush inspection on my 250. I'll tear into the side covers later to see why the tranny was locking up.

    What a trip!
Great riding, food and friends. I'll be back to that KOA after it cools down in the fall.
1200 miles round trip makes for a long drive but well worth it!
