Hmmm ive been trying to think of any other bikes that use that master cylinder? I dont really wana start chopping them up aswel.
You will need a lever made for a Ducati road bike. I have an ASV C5 on my 08 SMR brake and a ASV C6 on my clutch. Both in shorties. Work great and feel good. There are some posts on supermotojunkie.com that give the exact ASV part numbers. I don't remember mine off hand. Also, if you call ASV or email them you pic, they will tell you which lever you need right away. Great customer service through them.
How much these ASV levers set you back? I dont really wana pay over the top price for a lever, do and of the ktms use it?
Since I bought the C6 (latest and greatest) it was $90 and the brake was $95 I think. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny to me. The clutch is the same as most KTM's. You just have to make sure you get a KTM model with a MAGURA clutch. Here is the application list for husky's. http://asvinventions.com/Applications/Other.pdf Remember, that you cannot use that brake lever. It is only for the offroad models. NOT SMR's. Here is the application list for the brake lever http://asvinventions.com/Applications/DucatiSport.pdf BRC555 is the part number that fits the SMR Brembo brake. There are other people out that make levers cheaper. Also, ASV make a F3 which is forged, instead of cut out of billet and cheaper. Use the application guide to look for other ones. Midwest Mountain engineering makes a clutch lever that nice and cheap.
Yeah abit on the expensive side im really only after the brake side, i know the clutch is the same as i have owned 3 KTM i was just thinking about what the 690 smc uses? Il look into the asv and will have to decide, thankyou for the help it is most appriciated
