Brand new 449 with a broken Transmission

Well good news for those of us worried about Husky taking care of warranty problems . just over two weeks and my friend got his new 449 back yesterday , brand new engine from Husky . the dealer Toy Tech told him approx. 2 weeks from the start of this , and it was just over 2 weeks. i would say that is pretty darn good , for a company still trying to get everything sorted out , with ownership and parts distribution. also for the dealership helping to take care of this crappy situation in a timely manor.

Well that's good news for your friend. Maybe you can pass on to have him run Mobil1 0W40 in his new engine and to change it often. His transmission will more than likely outlast the rest of the bike.

Understand the he got his issue dialed and that's good .
Smart move from the OEM.....they could easily had a lemon lawsuit on their hands. It was handled properly and with biz savvy as well. what I'm saying is, it isn't just a matter of doing right thing and looking good, there are the legal consequences that can come down upon you if don't do the correct thing, consumer protection laws can and will win in a case like this. Again it aint always Mr. nice guy its mister smart guy, that also ends up looking like Mr nice guy.
PS Ive had Mr nice guy work done on my machines so that does exist as well, but in this brand new bike issue, its a different story.
