Never since I started on the '82wr through a bunch of Hoosk's have I ever had a mystery water intake problem occurring having not ridden anywhere recently near water, 'till today. A few hours gone and no ride. Found the culprit. Bike sat out overnight. A wee sprinkle of rain. That's all. How did it get into the carb? The stinking gastank vent tube was cracked at the bottom, in the 'well' of the cap. Hours I tell you. New plugs. Dicking around w the kill switch. And no ride. Pissed. At least I found it. Tomorrow may be a better day.
What a bummer! But, good find for sure! I might not have found that one, and may have started throwing things!
