Calambua (north of Danao) had a fiesta and a new track was built for the occasion but was finished a week late ... This allowed me a chance to go ride the track a day before the race and get an edge maybe ... Here are a few sights along the way to the track ... Broke out the Kenda K270 5.10x18 dual sport... if the track is dry, I think I can run this tire on the hard packed clay stuff and leave the knobby at home ... Small park in Danao Bus stop Welcome sign at Brgy. Flores Small hospital
Small beach resort along the way... 10 cents entry fee to beach .. Small huts $2 for all day ... Another welcome proclaiming 175 yrs of fiestas Truck loaded with sugar cane easing down to the mill Low tide ... another small river that drains the mountains and accepts ocean water at high tide ... Calambua!
MS Motosuit sign ...notice the almost black soil ..very very clayey stuff ...very slick when wet and very hard when dry Sign banner about race This is the view on the opposite side of the ridge from the track ... it is not sand...just white looking, clay soil ... those are walking \ 125 paths ... very good ST riding going all over the country side in this area. Track still not finished ... That is Ernie on my 08 TXC250 showing me the track Raw track
