    Morning,

Im looking to do away with the autolube and fit a bigger carb. Can anyone suggest a carb that will fitt?

Also it would be nice to hear of any other mods you chaps have done.

    Thanks

Mikuni TMX 38 carb' from the WR125 would be the obvious choice, surely?

Or another easy-ish option would be the 38 version of the same vhsb dellorto your bike already has?

Cheers shy ill have a look into the dellorto 38.
Im thinking a bigger carb will be a better option than the carb de-restriction kit as im sure i will get better performance increases for around the same £.

Also does anyone know if the v-force reeds and cage will fit the WRE?

    Cheers.

Considering the price of the derestrict jetting parts, a carb' swapout seems like a very viable suggestion - if you're willing to premix...

Yeah shy its looking a good option. Can't make my mind up about the auto lube, not that its had to chuck a bit of oil in when i fill up.
Could do with hearing from a few more people who have fitted the kit to find out what its like.

Also looking for any other mod ideas.... Missed out on a top end kit on e-bay i was going to bore out. Oh well.

what jets are in it? i had an 09 rs as well but it ran like crap compared to the husky, even with derestrictions

No idea what jets are in it. its a little boggy at low revs but after that its fine, the carb is from an 04 plate bike

Thanks George, any particular years of cr/wr wont fit?
Im not fussed about looseing auto lube, going to shift oil tank and fabricate a tray insert to hold battery and some tools.

    Cheers.

i just made sure it was specific to the year of my bike and trusted the dealer on the exact size. The wr/wre/cr can share parts pretty easily as ive found out by buying other parts of each of them for my wre

what parts did you put on your wre george? Mine is standard and is fast enough but I know there's more power to come out of the engine, especially as the top end is just run in now

It wasnt tha mine wasnt fast enough it just wasnt responsive as my previous bikes. As it stands now engine wise its got a race piston on top end. Mikuni 38mm carb and will ave a dep exhaust system on it. Im debating switching the flywheel ignition stator the cdi atm but i havent got the time as work feels 24/7
