    My saver that is...

Cased a double, broke my chain & ripped my case saver (and mounts) off my case... What is this, cast aluminum?

JB weld laughed in my face...

    Can it be saved?

Leave it alone and run without it. The beefed up ones will do more damage when that happens. Good chain and proper adjustment is the key.

    That's what I was thinking.

Especially if the only option was to replace the case - no sense in replacing something so I could save it from possibly getting broken in the future....

It is probally aluminum. Take to a competent welder and have it tig welded.

Problem is I'd need to take the bike apart - It a tight space and I'm fairly certain the wires & seals would melt with the heat...
