• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

We should have the updated points for the Ironmen and Teams that are in the running for the high point pit bikes. Here is the latest photo of the prize as seen at the Cedar Factory Outlets World Headquarters.

Rain will not effect the course whatsoever!
From all of us we hope to see you this weekend

Peeeeeeetaaaaa!

Peter and Anthony took advantage of Scotts misfortune and are thinking they took the win. Hoping to see the results soon. Peter has ridden twice this year... This was his first ride back. They called me and wanted me on their team but I was 100 miles away shooting some videos with Baucum at the time. I really wanted to do this series, but the Erzberg trip has cut into any discretionary spending.

Later,

A few photos from sat

you have to race all 4 races to qualify for the Braap, most laps wins in the end, and anything can happen!

lol....shortman syndrome.
you would've been a perfect fit on that team, Jake!

nice job Tim!

After 3 events, we still have 3 teams in contention for the overall. Sat night (May 17) from 5-9pm will be the final round of the series. Not gonna be too much darkness by 9 this weekend, so find a buddy or 2 and come out and try and mess with the guys that are still in contention. Last weekend at Straddleline was a very fun event, and the weather was great!
