    I Had a bike yammie wr400, that would eat sliders 2-3 a year, in supermoto trim it was worse, I ended up using a peice of PTFE(delrin) from mc master carr
    lasted 2 seasons and many miles through street and dirt just a touch noisy. Just a thought

    Just two different types
    Also frame guards etc google them

    Just FYI, Delrin and PTFE are different materials. The known trade name for PTFE is Teflon, and Delrin is acetal (not PTFE). Acetal (delrin) is a good material choice for a chain guide, though, so that's a good suggestion!

    My 310 has a slider type guide and it sits so close to the rear sprocket it seems to causing drag on the wheel
    Not real easy to turn wheel
