makes The 70 degree husaberg look utilitarian. :D

Ah... there's forward thinking and there's stupid. Three of those are made from CZ parts. No wonder there was an iron curtain.

Well, I'd say, very much so.

What appears to be the central theme, if indeed all this is from the one fellow / group, is the forward crank position / Whole crank & gearcase / gearbox (high and low - no seeming favouritism shown) forward location.

Then a few goes at rearward and up rear wheel travel, and a few other things - the complications of chain line / chain length / chain run, be damned!

From weirdness, sometimes "wonderfulness " grows, though, often, it's just plane weirdness.

Good on the bloke / blokes / blokettes. What have their critics and 'scoffers' done?

One thing people seeing these pictures may be reminded of, or 'discover', is the general uncaring nature of a 2T as to how it's mounted. Something I really hope whatever new 2ts that come to us, give consideration to. I'm definitely one for the Ossa rearward sloper idea, or, a more extreme variation of the "Berg Sloper set up - with the head barrel angled much further downwards. Mass centralisation, and plenty of room to get that pipe out of the way of harm. The first part of a 2t header, is not a particularly bulky thing, to then have the rest of the pipe, up, inwards and out of the way..........

The thingy I use when my 310r fails to e start occasionally
The thingy my KTM 300 buddy uses because his button don't work at all
The thingy Jess Gardiner wishes was on her Sherco 300i in the A4DE when her sprag clutch failed
The thingy that TE449/511 owners don't miss (apparently) :)

I noticed that it looked like a young and old version of the same guy ...

As a side effect, he invented the mini goose-neck trailer hitch also ... The front suspension here keeps the viewers eyes off that questionable rear suspension pivot action:)

Ya gotta wonder what that black-box chain action is all about also. He's not giving up all his secrets so easily.

Not sure if I would ride a bike with the expansion chamber under my chin today, but 45 yrs ago, maybe.

You guys don't recognize the genius in those old pictures? That's SP! We all have to start somewhere right?

Looks like the inspiration for PDS. One can clearly see where his knack for re-purposing left over parts to create something new comes from!
