Hi guys! I have some questions! I have the possibility to buy a Husky 250 built by Cheney Racing in UK. They handbuilt bikes for Husqvarna and made 20 250 2-strokes in 1969, and i can buy Nr 9. it´s totally standard and unrestored. Used condition and need a new piston and restoration of the cylinder. What could a bike like this be worth? I know it depends a lot on the history, and i wonder where i can find facts about this bike. I sent a message to Cheney Racing as they still exist, but haven´t got any answer yet. And if i can´t find any more info of it, what´s it worth then? Any help appreciated:notworthy:!

Let's see, one of 20, I would say as an estimate, $3000+ US dollars in that condition.

This bike was for sale for a long time on "blocket.se".
    Long time = too expensive.

I agree with Michel. The bike was up for sale a couple of times before and obviously too much was asked for it every time.
The problem with a bike as rare as this one is to find the right buyer.
You have to ask yourself how much the bike would be worth to you, and you could be that buyer.
Hopefully will you receive a good response from the gurus at MX-trax.

Please keep us updated if you buy this bike.

Ok, thanks for the info guys! It would be fun to buy and restore, but i guess you´re right about the pricetag. If i knew there was a famous rider it would be another thing, but i know nothing about it´s history at the moment. I stay low and play with my WR 300 and think about it:thumbsup:!
