This race was yesterday in Greensboro Georgia.

Traction was good as it had rained several times this week. But it was hot and humid. Paul Wibley won, AM-Pro youngster Ryan Belue second and KTM Factory GNCC XC2 racer Stu Baylor third.

I had a great race on what may have been my last race on my trusty Husky. I was second to the holeshot on a row of about thirty and took the lead by the second turn in the woods. I had a guy in my class on my rear wheel the whole race. It was so much fun. He tried some aggressive passes on the last lap and there was no way I was going to let him by after leading all race. Turns out he was a friend from a dirtbike website here in the south, but we didn't know that while we were racing:lol:. I won Vet B finishing 39th O/A out of approx 200. First race of the new season and it's off to a good start :applause: I think it's going to be a fun season.

I couldn't watch it either. What do you mean last race on the Husky? Are you replacing it?

I'm going to Yamaha for the time being. I love my Husky, in fact the guy that followed me all race commented "you must have had your suspension done?". He said I looked really smooth and the bike wasn't deflecting anywhere. The bike has stock valving, just sprung for my weight. Never had a DNF in three race seasons on that bike. And I've had more than my share of holeshots.

The main reason I'm going to Yamaha has more to do with the opportunity to get a great bike cheap. I could easily see myself back on Husky....in fact, I see a 310 somewhere off in the not so distant future. :) Oh, and I am keeping this WR until I'm certain the new bike is right for me.

Works fine for me. Good vid. Weird for me to see so much flatness.

Yeah, that race is pretty flat. This series races in 6 states in the southeast so we get a good variety from Florida sugar sand to TN/NC mountains. They're not big mountains but those races are all up, down or off-camber.

I did meet a CH member at the race. Can't remember his name but he was a B class racer from Hawaii, I think. ?? He just had his suspension done by LTR and proudly had Cafe Husky on his graphics.
