• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

China Hat ISDE

I have done that race many times including last year. Real good fun race. I'd probably be doing it again but am considering doing the Shelton Timekeeper Enduro instead. Have a great time.

BMP guys Bean 300, Johnson 310 and Ginsbach 511 have early minutes
Foley on 144 and Gage Johnson 300 a bit farther back

I will be doing OMRA duties so say hi when you pass through the sign up maze on Saturday

Ive done a little more analysis of the list. First some context...in 2011 I was entered on my TXC511 and it appears that I was the only Husqvarna in the field of 300 plus.

This years there are 273 riders entered and below are the known/probably Husqvarna riders !

bean Thomas 202 9:02 (New Era 300)
Johnson Mark 203 9:03 (TXC310R)
Ginsbach Chris 208 9:08 (TXC511)
proctor jeff 212 9:12 (maybe TXC449 mounted)
johnson gage 313 9:13 (New Era 300)
KING GREG 233 9:33 (WR250 – Greg may be out with injury)
SEDORE JEFF 133 9:33 (I don’t remember which model Jeff rides)
Farber Ryan 446 9:35 (WR250?)
Lopez Raymond 344 9:44 (I don’t remember which model Ray rides)
Troffer Timothy 150 9:50 (New Era 250)
STIFF CRAIG 259 9:59 (WR250)
Edgerton Devon 511 10:11 (WB165?)

First row is at 9 am so Tom and Mark get to start up front (3 per minute) in rows 2 and 3... which will be a big help given the probability of a dusty morning (rain forecast for sometime Sunday....)

Oops I missed the Foley 144...
And I met a young lady from BC on a TE310 we can add to the list

Mark tried to hug a tree and it slapped him....nothing serious, but took him out of the race...

I hope everyone else had a good day.

It was a fun day, perfect dirt no dust, riding in the rain like the coast range, and I stayed on two wheels and out of the trees. A very good day!
