2008 TE610 8500 miles. Just went thru this bike and changed the oil, etc. Finding neutral is a real beach, guess that's normal. However the bike wants to creep/lurch when in gear with the clutch in when starting. I've been told the clutch basket has worn parts in particular #26 and #53. Any input on this is welcome. I haven't had a clutch apart since the 70's...
Is it not something you guys can adjust and correct through the clutch perch adjuster? When I squeeze the clutch lever on my 08 610sm, somewhere in the middle of the lever stroke it disengages the engine and it stops pulling
My 610 is the same way, I just roll it forward maybe a foot while messing with the shifter to get neutral. That seems to be enough.
Found out why I was having aproblem. The clutch nut had come loose down on the lower bracket on the motor. All good now.
