250-500cc Clutch Drag . . . Still

I have recently removed the discs/plates to measure, they are all within spec and have no odd burs or blemishes. The basket isnt all notchy where they contact it either like some pictures ive seen on here. I adjusted the screw/nut at the center that sets the pushrod length for the actuator arm. It is about flush with the nut and i wish it was a bit longer..but it is very close to 90deg when the pressure plate breaks loose. i dont think this is my issue..I have installed a new motion pro terminator cable and adjusted it also. I have just been living with the drag for years and am finally trying to get rid of the excessive drag when the clutch lever is pulled..is it even possible? I have never been able to push the bike in gear with the clutch lever pulled, let alone start it in gear.
I have physically pushed the actuator arm all the way to its limit just to see if it was possible to disengage the clutch enough. I was still unable to push the bike in gear while pushing the arm....Is there hope? Someone show me the light. What do i need to do?...aside from not trying to push my bike..!

the problem is pressure plate gap, if ANY of the plates are a little distorted from ANY heat
besides just replacing the clutch check the parts for flat

Gotcha. Good call. I'll pull it back apart and check. Ill report back. U say ANY heat...does that mean it'll just happen again?
