Got a tester from autozone and hit kill switch and kicked until it won't go any higher got a reading of 100. Seems low. Just curious of anyone knows the typical reading I read between 150-190 is good. I did let it warm up first image.jpg

Our wr 125 has 120psi cold and starts first kick everytime. I'm starting to think that's a better gauge in testing the motor than a compression tester.

Should be closer to 160, but gauges do vary 5-10 lbs.

Did you have the throttle wide open when you kicked it over?

guage may be out - see if you can borrow one . I think 130 - 140 is norm for 125 . Higher for 144 and higher again for 165

Are you supposed to warm it up first? I always thought they were supposed to be cold?
