Just thought we would share a picture of our large wheel CR 50 with everyone. We have fitted 14/12 talon wheels and had the standard swingarm lengthened by 35mm. We have also replaced std bars with pro-taper and fitted custom graphics. Just waiting for someone to make a nice exhaust for them now.

Std wheels are 12/10, we built this bike to display at the UK dirt bike show at the moment 95% of the uk auto market is KTM, with most owners spending over £3500.
Husqvarna are hoping to capture a slice of this market in the UK.

the cr50 was designed to take them 14/12" wheels, too (with some compromises in maximum wheel deflection). so it should have worked even without making the swingarm longer (which of course is a good idea anyway).

    edit: i love that bike.

we tried the wheels in the bike before we altered the swingarm but there was almost no adjustment for the chain and looked very odd.

i knew about the 12" rear wheel to be allowed in british mx races, but if i am informed correctly, the 14" front is too large to compete in 50cc racing, right?

I really do like that thing. They need to make a 250 that looks that good.

No, the current rules in the UK are for 14'' front and 12'' rear.
