crank case breather pipe correct position

    does any one know the correct termination for the crank case breather pipe on 79 or 390,wasnt any on mine so not sure how long should be ect and what holds it if anything cheers(oil filler cap)

    Tube (vent hose) sticks up & tie wrap it to the frame, tube fits in the cap end fairly tightly, that's all.

    Very good question, not sure of the official answer, but here's what I have done:

    1. Up along the "B" frame rail, behind the pipe, and into the large open tube on the frame below the seat.

    2. Up the "B" frame rail, and curl over underneath the airbox, and down the "B" frame rail on the other side.

    I am hesitant to simply go up and terminate vertically - as then stuff can drip straight in...
