Anyone have for suggestion on where to send my 430 crank for service? Looking to get a rod pressed, trued, and balanced.

    Thanks

I've sent several early 70's cranks to John at Vintage Husky. I had some trued and others had a rod or stub shaft replaced. No issues ever came up. I did check out Crank Works in Az but never sent them anything due to their high price but they struck me as an outfit that knew their way around crankshafts. There used to be plenty of guys on here that had experience with 430 crank service but not so much anymore.

Thanks, I checked with them on Friday they do seem a bit pricey with a 4-5 week turn around, but like you said, sounds like they know their Stuff.
Plus they are also one of the only shops that are welding and balancing!! Going to check with Halls on Tuesday before I decide.
