CROSS COUNTRY NEWS FROM GERMANY AND THE USA Husqvarna riders have been competing in National Cross Country races in Europe and America. In the second round of the German Cross Country Championship at Marisfeld, Speedbrain Team rider Paulo Goncalves finished in second-place in the XC Pro class, which puts him second overall in the current points table. In America, at the Rock Run GNCC in Patton, Pennsylvania, FAR Husqvarna's Jason Thomas finished fifth in the seventh round of the 2011 Grand National Cross Country series, which was enough to keep his second place in the overall rankings, just 18 points behind Steward Baylor Jr. Jason Thomas crashed hard at a local race last Sunday an bruised his chest and pulled 2 ribs out of place. After going to a trainer all week to help get his ribs and chest back in shape, Jason was ready to get valuable points needed for the day.
