Cush drive??

I want to order a new set of wheels for my 630, and I'm really considering the optional cush drive. I know our clutches come with a spring damping mechanism, but I question it's longevity given the thread about the destroyed clutch washers. If I'm correct, the cush will help "soften the blow" so to speak? Has anyone here installed a cush drive to their 'tards?

I don't have a cush drive hub but I did install a Kush sprocket and it made a difference that I could feel. It took some of the drive train harmonics out making it a smoother ride overall and hard up and down shifting is less harse.

    I'm
The SM610 sprocket will fit the 630's, right?

I haven't actually had both in my hand at the same time but I'm pretty sure they are the same.

I have an OEM sprocket that was on my 610, now on my 630.

The problem I have is that I do a good bit of higher speed cruising around here and I don't feel like winding it up too high just to go down the highway. The smallest sprocket Kush makes is a 41, which will put me around 500rpm higher at 70mph and I'm sure it'll bring the ol' thumper buzz in earlier too. With the stock gearing, I can still loft the front on throttle alone or clutch it up in 2nd (and 3rd, with a bounce). With stock gearing (15/38), it already feels like there should be a 7th gear on the highway, but I know it's a SM, not a cruiser :P
I suppose I could always pick up a 16t CS sprocket too...
