125-200cc Cylinder is junk on my 125

Took the bike out last weekend and it felt low on compression. Pulled the cylinder to find I need a new ring........and the thing has 3 cracks in it. 2 in the water jacket and 1 between the ports.

Ive got a race in 2 weeks and I cant find a replacement :-(

A good company like Millenium Technologies can repair cracked bridges. They will strip the cylinder, weld the bridges, bore it, re-coat it, and finish hone it. mt-llc.com

They also have core exchange programs for some models, may have a cylinder on the shelf for you. Call them.

Thanks but im in the UK. I might try my local shop to see if its repairable.

Husky Sport do a exchange setup, I think from memory £280 with piston, give Mike or Reece a ring.

Rang them today. They have a 125 kit on the shelf. Didnt know they did an exchange 144 kit

Your post says 125 not 144 The 144 kit is over £700 and to think they give them away if you live in the USA

try service exchange parts in kegworth, they are a good bunch an fast if you demand it. they did my kawasaki kmx 125 that was 3 years ago and still got same piston, ther sleeved it, but can make the sleeves in shop.

oh yeah sorry. I put a wanted add up for a 144 kit as I felt it was loosing compression.
