Does anyone offer the lower mount front fender for husky like the Dakar Bikes? With the higher fender I get reflection and blind spots at night. I am still undecided on the headlight/shield combo for my new 610I do have an 8" round 90/100 headlight that I had mounted on my xr650 and it was great. I ran this bike without a front fender to test and was very pleased with the results. I may use this and I have two windshields, one small (works great in tight areas) and a larger one that provided max protection. The large one makes life nice as long as you stay on moderate trails and will be used for longer trips. The lynx fairing looks great, however is pricey and I also own the other stuff.
I saw a post on Advrider of someone using the following for what you need http://www.ufoplast.com/en/product-details/mx-enduro/universal-spare-parts/PA01020 There are probably others, but I don't know about them
I have a low front fender from a KTM 640 Adventure that I bought from someone who converted to a high fender. It fits OK, but the rear braces aren't long enough for the available threaded points on our 610's. I think it will be simple to lengthen them with some additional plastic, but I haven't done that yet. The one that Ruffus listed might be a quicker solution. Howard L. Snell
I couldnt find one when i built my Dakar 510. I have a custom made fiberglass low fender for the 45mm forks, if that in any way helps. I tried the german importer, who has a picture of one, but never heard back. You could also ask Ben/Johan with their Dakar finishing Husky, but thats gonna be for the 50mm forks. ---- For baja racing we all paint the top of our front fender black, so it wont reflect. A bit of tape around the light too.
