I do not like being the one to clarify this. New York is not in new England. I just researched it to make sure. That is what you have in mind with NE isn't it? On the other hand for someone from the Mid-Atlantic region NE probably means northeast. Region 1: Northeast Division 1: New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) Division 2: Mid-Atlantic (New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania)
I thought Rob meant North East with his NE, not New England. I'm in no rush to leave the land of solid rear rotors, for Cali though!
North East is where I was going.... PS we also have 2 others from MA., Phactory Phil and De-Meat (the Greeks) but in a true sense not by some geological rules the New in York and Jersey (as well as New Englands, Hampshire)----kinda does relate more to England more than a Native American name Like MA or CT.
NETRA always says NY is not in New England until you then try to enter a NETRA race and say that you do not need to join NETRA as NY is your home and therefor you do not need to be in NETRA and then they say but then we lose out on $50 and so on and so on......I get a kick out of it. Like everyone in New England is like Sam Adams and public speaking! They are proud of being New Englanders and some fast guys too!
