Hello to all Husky owners...this is my first post. I have a 1980 CR250 that I have owned from new. Rode it quite a lot in the early 80's but then other priorities came along so it just sat around for the next 20 something years. I have recently completed a thorough restoration and had my first ride day in 25 years with the Husky going as strong as ever, unfortunatley the same can't be said for the unskilled rider but great fun none the less.

Ok, does anyone know if the DLS brake backing plate can be fitted into the older SLS hub? Does the DLS brake offer a really big increase in stopping power compared to the SLS anyway?

Lastly, I would like to say a big thanks to all the people responsible for this great site...a valuable resource.

    Cheers, Mark

the answer is yes but if you're going to the trouble then find a set of 40mm forks from and '83 (the DLS came stock); they bolt directly on!
