Does the 87 430WR Silencer Fit the 83 Model?

    Does the aluminium 87 WR430 silencer bolt straight onto a 83 model?

    I only have an Ebay listing photo to go off and won't know until I have already shelled for it from the US.

    If not what aftermarket ones are available out there?

    I think the silencers had gone to twin-mount (ie two mounting tabs) by '87 compared to 1 tab for '83 to '86. I don't know if you could just saw one of them off. I also don't know if the input diameters are the same or not. Sounds risky unless it's cheap!
