There's no leaks I noticed I just fitted a jd and had trouble reconnecting the the fuel line to pump it doesn't seem to click into place is this normal. Is the gap seen in pic normal I think it's in as far as it can go
It should click, just tug on it, if it doesn't pull off, it's on. There can be a gap and it still be on right.
It's quite hard to pull off the 2 white pieces u squeeze are old/worn that's why don't think clicks in properly
Mine (630) didn´t click in after I installed the JD. So it came off in the middle of a long Autobahn tunnel. They had me on the TV monitor and got me out. They even got me some fuel to put in after I´d done the repair.
Ill have to order another one because it doesn't click its obviously no good still riding the bike and no leaks but checking it regulary
The pump assembly puts out 43psi, if it's not locked in, it WILL get pushed out. Sometimes, when I put mine back on, and I am not lined up straight, there is not much of a click, you have to have the hose piece heading onto the red fitting really straight for you to get a good click.
