It should click, just tug on it, if it doesn't pull off, it's on. There can be a gap and it still be on right.

Mine (630) didn´t click in after I installed the JD. So it came off in the middle of a long Autobahn tunnel. They had me on the TV monitor and got me out. They even got me some fuel to put in after I´d done the repair.

So how did you repair it just by getting it to click in properly ?

The pump assembly puts out 43psi, if it's not locked in, it WILL get pushed out.

Sometimes, when I put mine back on, and I am not lined up straight, there is not much of a click, you have to have the hose piece heading onto the red fitting really straight for you to get a good click.
