I dont really notice it while I'm riding or warming the bike on the stand, but judging by the amount of bolts that have rattled loose I would say the 300 does like to vibrate.

The WR250 is a vibrator as well. Very noticeable trading between my 2010 TXC250 and my buddies 07 WR250. The TXC is a lot smoother.

If you think the WR vibrates bad hop on a TE450 for a few minutes. I don't notice the vibes on my WR after the first few minutes, but the TE450 I rode was horrible. Brad.

My WR250 is a shaker. Yes, my motor mounts are tight. I put some goo in the bars and the helped some.

What can be done about the vibration issue on the WR250/300 models?
Has anyone experimented with aftermarket parts like for example rubber engine mounts, or even by having the engine partially re-engineered? I am hesitating to purchase a WR300, as this issue is mentioned in all reviews I have read about this bike. Thanks.

Its really not that big an issue i think. When i first got my 300 i thought "uh oh" the vibration may irritate me. But i have yet to notice it when ridng. I just check bolts more often and its all good otherwise.

Wouldn't worry about it unless you leave it on the stand on a concrete floor :) I left my 360 idling for a few minutes whilst ducking into the little boys room and found the bike half down my driveway.
Like any twostroke husky...regularly check all fastners.

Mine vibrates a little, went for a ride the other day warmed her up rode up the driveway, parked it on the stand still running and hopped off and went to shut the gate only to turn around and find her dancing her back back down the driveway...a little humorous to those watching, but nothing too serious. Its not that noticable when riding. From memory the handlebar clamps are rubber mounted. A good friend of mine is into vintage racing and I've ridden a few of his older big bore two strokes - YZ490s etc and they really vibe, as in they'll rattle your feet off the pegs - so the WR really is quite good for what it is!

I rode a '07 YZ 250 last weekend, the WR does not vibrate compared to that!

My friends KTM 300 vibrates slightly less then the Husky, but once driving i donĀ“t fell any difference, but mine also goes back on the stand on idle. Maybe an engine balancing cures it a bit, but that involves some work...
