OK- I've finally joined the 20th century. Tried some dual-pane lenses this weekend for the first time. Yeh- I know, welcome to last decade. I never could justify the cost and was 'getting by' with the old school tricks and goggle prep. But I pulled the trigger and finally got a couple of these lenses. I enjoy soft music, long walks on the beach........and bench-pressing my motorcycle up and over big, gnarly stuff etc. We all know what happens to your vision then. FOGGED. Even with the best prep ya still got some clouds on the lens. Not anymore! I feel so enlightened, modern and freeeeeeeee! No- I still aint turnin' in my cowboy boots, gettin' a cell phone, home PC, cable, etc....
Aren't all my posts redundant? And the crowd goes wild when Wetdog wins the Gold metal for Thread Bastardization. :canada:
Awesome man....I'm due. The foam likes to pill up and get all boogery and stuck in my eyes. Sorta like bugs in my goggles when riding down the trail... "...am I seein' stuff er.......prolly just too much cough medicine bafore thuh ride..." Nice sig.
Last one..... I need to get some work done I have many pairs of goggles but it's at the expense of my kid. I don't even give him my hand me downs as I find I can get a couple bucks for them on Craigslist and I buy Saran Wrap with the money. I give him a half dozen wraps before the ride and when it gets dirty I just unwrap a little so he can see. Poor mans tear offs.
......I can just the the lil nipper comin' in fer a pit stop.... You run over, unwrap one revolution around the poor kid's noggin, trim the muddy hunk off, slap him on the back and go!.....must be kinda hard to breath though.... And- is it fogproof? OK- back to work.
Fog proof.? Damn rights. I'm working with six-pane technology non of this 20th century dual-pane old school stuff.
