It rides just like my TXC511...which to say, awesome!!! Did a twisty turney poker run a week ago. Bike handled every root, hill, rock and tree (avoidance) with aplomb. It did remind me that for off road work going down one tooth on the countershaft is a great upgrade.

Also added a Seat Concepts seat kit, purchased from Bills and the Nomad 3 liter tank from Motosportz this week. Plans for riding the Rat Dog dualsport run last weekend were interrupted by ....life.

Need some bark busters to complete the package and will swap the Uptite skidplate off my 511 since that bike primarily see GP course duty now (suspension update on the 511 soon)

So you got rid of the TE250 and now have a TXC511 and TXC449? Odd. Although after riding my 511 more and more I think a TC449 would be cool to have and use as my primary off road bike as the TE511 is loaded with DS extras. Still a great dirt bike but a stripped TC449 would be butter and i think i might prefer it over a 250/310.

Who you calling odd ??? ;)

Yes the 511 is set up a my race bike (and my brother is probably going to ride it the rest of the year) and the 449 is set up as my dualsport rig. The chassis and engine works quite well for both purposes. And yes I traded the very lightly used 250 on the 449, so you can pick up a nice low hours 250 at BMP cheap.

Your TC idea would also have worked, but I already had the non-plated 511 so I needed something plateable for dualsporting. And now I can swap wheels, suspension, etc to suit.
