Seen pictures, did not think much of it. Then went to a MX race last night and ran into a dude with one there. Very cool bike up close. Nice design, very small, looks fun. You could tell some budget parts are on it to save cost like preload as the only adjustment on the shock, etc but overall a very nice bike. Just thought I would share as pictures do not do this bike justice. Its real nice in person. His was a model with spoked wheels. Said he put a deposit down on it and the dealer had 37 customers for them on the list!!! Guess they are selling well.

They moved 30+ down here already. And they do look much better in person. Smaller and not as inrtusive looking. The rear assembly on certain models upsets the appearance but there are already ways to get rid of it. I also am not fond of the fat collector/end pipe. I have not seen the Termi though. The Sport Classics were supposed to be the last of the air cooled models but these are at a good price point. I believe they are assembled in Thailand.

For some reason I thought they were going to make a performance version of the Scrambler like they do with the Hypermotard SP. With 75hp emission legal and 410 lbs wet it would be pretty fun to zip around on. I'm thinking with no catylist and re-mapped it would be around 85hp

They do... The Full Throttle has the Termi and supposed to be a bit more than my Sport Classic with Termi and race ECU. Not a fan of the Swingarm, airbox or or Rubbermaid tote under the tank or the rear seat treatment. The engine covers, etc... I guess are just cheap looking since the aftermarket, like Speedy Moto and others will provide replacement bits. At the price point not so bad as they could have set prices higher. I do think a dual seat with abreviated rear fender would look better. Maybe the Kiska and Ducati designers went to design school together ;-)

The one I saw last night was the spoked version with the cool seat just like I posted. He had the EFI remapped, some special air box mod and a slip on muffler. Said it runs stronger than he thought it might. Very good looking in person.

The SP version of the Hypermotard has fully adjustable Ohlins, lots of titanium, carbon fiber and 3 maps all with a choice of various anti-lock options... The Full Throttle has the style of a flat tracker but doesn't even have separate comp/rebound adjustment of the shock.
