the 86 WR400 is really showing it's versatility and usefulness while the 144 is down for crash repairs. Little slick and nasty coming over the pass. Watched a gal and her dog in a SUV bounce off several guard rails and then off the road right in front of me. When you ride a lot in the NW you end up drying your boots / gloves in the truck Old reliable ready for another day... Red, Blake and Munkel. Good group. Red rode a trails bike and did really well on it. Blake enjoying the sunshine... I know the Moose pants are goofly looking but warm and comfy... Lets ride... Red switched to his CRF250 and needed a paddle several times. (did not have one) the beast delivers once again. Anyone need some shoes?
Wow! Looks like a nice place! A little more interesting than the usual sand-riding area, anyway. Love the Shoe Tree! Reminds me of the huge one just outside of Fallon, NV. I did a little bit of sand riding last weekend, too. I'll bet your paddle worked a lot better than the street tires on my 610
Looks like some fun. I probably wouldn't have picked a TXT for dune riding, but if that's your friend's only ride, then it beats not riding with friends. In a turnabout, I rode some local mountain snow on Thanksgiving. It looked like Christmas.
