I am a little confused trying to find out the servicable limit of the Cam Chain tensioner in regards to how worn the cam chain is. There are no "clicks" like the newer models, it is just a smooth shaft (I know, i know[IMG]) with a small flat head srew that retracts the shaft and it then releases under the spressure of the internal spring.

As it sits now it is towards fully extended, about 1-4in from fully extended.

Any one have a measurement or something I can go off to see if I should replace the CC?

Also can i use a high compression piston from any model TE610 in the 2003 TEE[IMG]?

    Thanks
