    Hi All
I am rebuilding 1999 610 and am left with a couple of wires with ring connectors attached and can't work out where they go!!
The first one is coming out of unit which houses the HT Lead (at top of frame just behind headstock. I assume its an earth but not sure

The other one is from the unit (12v regulator?) which is attached to the inside of the battery tray (other lead it to battery terminal).
Again I assume earth but am not sure!

Sorry for the stupid question! I will learn to take photos prior to dismantling from now on!

Not sure what HT means. But on the newer models one of the ignition coil mounting bolts is also a ground, I think it runs up to the speedo and lighting. Chances are if it is a ring terminal, and if it is blue or black, it is a ground and you can choose any paint free metal frame connection point.
